Rain boots

Ok, maybe rain boots are not so glamorous as over the knee boots but they are necessary staples in your wardrobe. But just because they are a necessity doesn't mean they can't be stylish. Now rain boots (or hunter's boots) are designed to be worn throughout the rainy season and beyond.

There are so many great ways to wear rain boots and still look good. Forget about those ugly traditional rubber boots and enjoy the patent finishes on boots of all shapes and styles. These boots will make you rethink how you dress for a downpour.

You will look so feminine combining your dresses and skirts with rain boots. Red or pink rain boots will be perfect for the girly mood of dresses and skirts, although having the neutral black ones can be quite attractive combined with short skirts or dresses.

Large cardigans or sweaters and tights also are a great companion for rain boots. In addition to giving a rather elegant look, the combination will provide warmth and the legging will be comfortably inserted into the rain boots.

Jeans and coats are a good idea for a casual look. This is a very simple way to wear rain boots in style. Put a large checkered scarf around your neck for a more contrasting look.

Shorts and boots are also a feminine style, even more if you add tights. Put on rain boots after knee socks. Trimmed tops, such as a trimmed sweater or long-sleeved shirt will be a good pair. Be sure to choose knee-length shorts for a sexy look.
